12:1 High-Speed Steel Gear Set for Standard V2 and V3 AEG Gearbox CNC Airsoft Gears

At present, the primary gear ratios we produce are 18:1, 16:1, 13:1, 12:1, a dual-sector gear of 9:1, and a 6.5:1 ratio. Our gears are precision-machined using state-of-the-art CNC equipment. The bevel gears are made using the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) process, while the central shaft gear, sector gear, and spur gear are fabricated from 40Cr steel through CNC turning, milling, and hobbing operations. These components are then heat-treated to a hardness of HRC42-50 to ensure durability during high-speed operation.

By continuously refining the gear parameters over an extended period, we have succeeded in making the gears run more smoothly and generating less noise. Additionally, we are exploring the use of 20CrMoTi and 30CrMnSiNi materials for our gears, with the aim of further improving the maximum torque and toughness.

The gear shaft and gear plate are assembled using a tight interference fit of 0.05mm, ensuring a secure connection through press-fitting. Strict control of tolerances is crucial in the production process, as variations can significantly impact the service life of the gear during high-speed operation and potentially lead to the gear shaft separating from the gear.
